Strong partner for highlight event: Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf becomes main sponsor of the Uniper Düsseldorf Marathon 2025 Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf will be official main sponsor of the Uniper Düsseldorf Marathon 2025. At the same time, the long-established company will give its name to the Kids Cup integrated into the marathon event day. The two and four-kilometre races for children born between 2014 and 2017 and between 2008 and 2013 will in future be part of the marathon event under the name “Stadtsparkasse Kids Cup”.
Founded in 1825, the company has been actively involved in sports in Düsseldorf for many decades and acts as a strong financial partner for citizens, local companies and institutions with its wide range of products and services, and will be celebrating its 200th anniversary next year. To mark this company anniversary, Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf is giving schoolchildren from Düsseldorf and the region 200 starting places for next year's Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf Kids Cup. Registration is open and free of charge from today for the first 200 pupils.
