Course
Marathon
After the start on the Joseph-Beuys-Ufer, the largely flat course leads along the Rhine towards the exhibition center and Nordpark before passing the first refreshment point near the Aquazoo after approx. 5km. The route then continues towards the city center before crossing the Oberkassel Bridge to the other side of the Rhine shortly after 13km. After a loop through Oberkassel and passing the half marathon marker, the route crosses the Rhine again towards Königsallee. From there, the course passes the Zoopark and heads towards the Medienhafen. After another loop along Königsallee, the last few kilometers head towards the finish line at the lower Rheinwerft. The finish line is located directly in the old town. The perfect place to toast your success with a cool Altbier.
